Juneau is a Rock band from houston texas formed in January 05' have already released one EP, and is in the process of completing their first full length ablum unnamed, in late January of 2006. Keep checking back for studio updates.

Biography:
These days, genres have become mixed and matched into things that aren't even audible anymore. With a seemingly original style, yet hardly anything new, Juneau has stolen the scene in six short months and brought music back to what it was before bandanas and black hair dye were cool. In December of 2004, Juneau began with high-school friends, Justin Schultze, Mike Eades, and Kyle Jones, all with five years of combined music experience under their belts. As most bands begin, they are always looking for that last member, and Juneau had to search no further than to Justin's younger brother, drummer Jordan Schultze. With the last piece of the puzzle intact, they got right down to the music.

In April of 2005, they released their first EP entitled the Victory Lights EP, recorded at the world famous Sugarhill Recording Studios with producer Josh Applebee. The three song EP packed a punch of melody's, breakdowns, and angst filled screams. "We recorded our EP in the mist of "the scene" and screamo, and now that hardcore is dying out, we regret recording the album the way we did," says Schultze. However young bands make mistakes, and in such a short time, Juneau has learned and triumphed over their past faults. With new songs influenced by the likes of Mae, Anberlin, and Terminal, along with their punk rock roots, Juneau has risen over the Houston scene to a new level of music.
